Nokia 808 Pureview Full Review - Nokia has launched its latest product. This product really makes people curious about the Nokia 808 Pureview. This phone is rumored to have a camera that is tough enough. How about the camera?

Design

The dimensions of the Nokia 808 Pureview is: 123.9 x 60.2 x 13.9 mm and weighs 169 grams; full touchscreen; polycarbonate material with a matte finish and corning gorilla glass; mic hole (around phones from the top). Mini-HDMI port, micro USB, 3.5 mm audio; button volume rocker, lock, shutter.

Nokia 808 is almost identical to the Nokia Xpress Music (5800) in terms of looks. The bottom of the screen there are three touch buttons that is Call button, Menu and End/Power. This phone has a thick body and pretty heavy. It makes you feel hard when inserting the phone into the pocket.

Display

Nokia 808 Pureview comes with AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors, 360 x 640 pixels, 4 inches (~ 184 ppi pixel density), multi-touch, Corning Gorilla Glass and Nokia ClearBlack display. This phone has a large enough screen to assist you in doing the activity. When viewed at a glance, the phone screen looks normal. But it's not a problem because the phone screen can display images with good quality.

OS and User Interface

This smartphone brings Nokia Belle OS FP1. This OS looks better than the old Symbian versions. If you are Android user, then you will feel the look of Android on this phone like the multi panel homescreen. But you should not expect to get an upgrade of this phone. Rumored that the Nokia 808 Pureview will be the last phone using Symbian OS.

Nokia 808 Pureview comes with 1.3 GHz ARM 11 processor, Broadcom BCM2763 GPU, RAM: 512 MB, ROM: 1 GB, Li-Ion 1400 mAh (BV-4D). Nokia 808 Pureview has a high speed when compared to other Symbian. This is helpful for you its'nt?

For storage sector, this phone has 16GB of internal storage and external storage which can be upgraded up to 32GB.

Camera

The camera is the dominant sector of the mobile phone. Nokia 808 Pureview bring a camera of 41 MP (38 effective MP, 7152 x 5368 pixels), Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus, Xenon flash, 1/1.2'' sensor size, ND filter, up to 4x lossless digital zoom, geo-tagging, face detection; secondary Camera: VGA photo and VGA@30fps video recording; video recording: 1080p @ 30fps, lossless digital zoom, LED light.

On the camera, this smartphone has two main settings that is Pureview and Full Resolution. At Pureview settings, you can choose the resolution camera of 8MP, 5MP and 2MP. In this setup then you can get good results. While at Full Resolution setting, you can choose the resolution of 38MP (4:3 aspect ratio) and 34 MP (aspect ratio (16:9).

Another feature in the settings Pureview is lossless zoom where you can enlarge the photo detail with a sharp display and not broken. While at Full Resolution, you will get a picture with big resolution. Very interesting isn't?

Connectivity

Nokia 808 Pureview carries GSM 850/900/1800/1900, 3G HSDPA 900/1900/2100, HSDPA 14.4 Mbps, HSUPA 5.76 Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, UPnP technology, Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP. This smartphone already has the connections are complete enough to meet your needs. If you want to browse, then you can use HSDPA network services or wifi connection.

Conclusion

Nokia 808 Pureview is a phone that has a pretty good camera. This phone has a remarkable megapixel size and advanced features of the camera. With this, you will be able to take a sharp picture quality. But, this phone is offered at a great price. This phone also doesn't have a dual core processor at this point where the other competitors are using that processor.
