HTC Desire X Review and Specs - Hy guys, how are you today? After launching the Desire series VC, V and C, HTC released its newest product, namely the HTC Desire X. This phone has a dual core processor. What about the speed?

Design

The dimensions of the HTC Desire X is: 118.5 x 62.3 x 9.3 mm and weighs 114 grams; full touchscreen; plastics material; 3.5mm audio jack; power button/screen lock; volume rocker; mic hole, microUSB port (around phones from top).

HTC Desire X has a shape that isn't too big and elegant. You will feel comfortable when the phone is in your hands. Back cover of this phone uses plastic materials and metal materials in the frame that surrounds the screen. Therefore, the Desire X is established.

At the front of the phone there are 3 touch screen buttons that button back, home and task switcher. The volume buttons are on the right while the microUSB port is on the left. At the top of the phone there are jack audio port and power button.

Display

Desire X carrying the Super LCD capacitive touch screen, 16 million colors, 480 x 800 pixels, 4.0 inches (~ 233 ppi pixel density) and multi-touch. With the screen specs, this phone has a clear display and full color. It is also supported by pixel density up to 233ppi. This phone also has a large screen that is 4.0 inches and allow you to perform the activity. Screen of the HTC Desire X can receive up to 4 finger touch and it is easy for you when using the swipe function.

OS and User Interface

This smartphone is already using the Android OS, v4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and HTC Sense v4.1 UI.HTC Desire X only uses the Android OS Ice Cream Sandwich, but other vendors are launching phones with Android Jelly Bean. But it doesn't matter, because this phone also has a good performance.

For the sector of the User Interface, this phone has a great view. Sense UI features like Leap View and Active Lockscreen is not present in this phone. There is a shortcut on the homescreen can not be replaced with another shortcut.

Processor and Memory

Desire X uses a Qualcomm MSM8625 Dual Core 1GHz ARMv7, GPU: Adreno 203 and 768MB RAM. HTC Desire X capable of running at high speed. This is very helpful when you doing various activities in the same time, and the phone will not be slow. Performance of this phone is also supported by 768MB RAM.

For storage sector, this phone has 4GB of internal storage (2 GB user available) and external storage which can be upgraded up to 32GB. Unfortunately, the external memory is not supplied in the sales package.

5 MP, 2592 x 1944 pixels, autofocus, geo-tagging; video recorder 640x480 maximum. The camera of HTC Desire X comes with a myriad of features such as ISO, WB, Storage, Camera Option, review duration, Image Adjustment, Video Option, and so on. The camera is also able to record and take pictures at the same time. Very interesting isn't?

Desire X has a very complete connection. You can connect to the internet via the HSDPA and wifi. Browser of the phone is capable of opening 6 pages at the same time. This smartphone is also capable of turning pages is equipped with a flash file like youtube. In the connection with the data cable connected to the computer, you will be offered a variety of options such as only for battery charging, mass storage mode, HTC Sync, USB tethering and internet pass through.

Conclusion

HTC Desire X is a phone that has a good performance. This phone comes with a 1GHz Dual Core Processor so you will get high speed in an activity, it is also supported by the large RAM. However, the smartphone is still using ICS OS. Hopefully Desire X gets an upgrade from ICS to Jelly Bean.
