Design

Galaxy Y has a compact design and is made for young people. The size of this phone is 104 x 58 x 11.5 mm and weighs 97 grams. The entire body of the phone is made of plastic material. But at the back of the casing is made from chrome material so that the phone does not become slippery when your handheld. Unfortunately, to access the memory slots you have to open the battery because this Samsung Galaxy Y doesn't support hot-swap. At the bottom of the screen there are three buttons: two capacitive buttons and a back button.

At low light room, you will not get maximum results because the camera doesn't has a flash. But it's not a big problem, indoor or outdoor, the images from this camera looks sharp.

For the video sector, this camera has a good quality recording. This video player can play MP4 files, avid and WMV. You can save the file on the existing internal storage is 160MB. If you're not satisfied, you can use an external storage which can be upgrade up to 32GB.

You can easily connect this phone to the internet because the Samsung Galaxy Y has a complete connection. This phone has a high speed when you're browsing. Unfortunately, the Galaxy Y doesn't support flash. You can't play videos on youtube.
