Old Decoden

Posted by Unknown Sabtu, 07 Desember 2013 0 komentar
Sorry for the poor image quality, because most of the photos are taken with old handphone >.<

Back to the past, when I first found out about Decoden. Decoden is the art of decorating gadgets, could be with ribbons, dolls, feathers, beads, pearls, clay, painting etc..

The first time I saw decoden at September 2007 in a Japanese Magazine, I instantly fell in love, and i wanted to decorate my phone too. But I'm having trouble finding the materials in my town, Jogja. At that time, I don't know how to import from overseas.

So with modest materials that I found in my town, this is my first Decoden, I forget what kind of phone, this is a Samsung CDMA Phone

Then I found the rhinestone stickers for mobile phones, this is the result on my Sony Ericsson K610

I saw a lot of Japanese people decorate their clamshell phone, apparently that time in Japan was a trend clamshell type mobile phone. The I bought the most cheap clamshell type mobile phone. I forgot the type, the brand is Samsung. And here is the "Decoden Princess Style" in my Samsung Clamshell.

Then I decorate it again to make it look more full, with bonus photo of me in 2008 hahaha >.<

When the decorations started to ugly and dirty, I replace it with another decorations.

Still in 2008, I attended a Clay Seminar, and I make small roses from clay, then I stick it in my Samsung CDMA phone with some rhinestones.

Back to my Samsung Clamshell Phone, some rhinestones is loose, unfortunately there's no photos of this phone when I had just finished decorate it. Shhhh .. Besides decoden, I also often make my own handphone strap from flannel ~^.^~

Since i obsessed with Decoden, I always buy the Rhinestone Stickers, and this is some Decoden results with Rhinestone Sticker on my Nokia Classic. I forget the series >.<

I know about Decoden in 2007 and I started selling Decoden and the materials for Decoden in 2010.

Now? This is the result of last Decoden that I make, I make it to my customers.

Samsung coming up 5-inch windows phone

Posted by Unknown Kamis, 05 Desember 2013 0 komentar
Here is a rather interesting discovery. It seems Samsung is not quite ready yet to give up on Windows Phone. Indian importation records revealed that Samsung has been sending the Samsung SM-w750v to India, for “testing and evaluation”.
A search for the name reveals the handset is running Windows Phone 8, according to Handsetdetection.com, with the user agent of:
Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 10.0; Windows Phone 8.0; Trident/6.0; IEMobile/10.0; ARM; Touch; SAMSUNG; SM-W750V)
The 5 inch handset has a value of Rs. 31,967 for R&D and Rs. 33,245 for “testing and evaluation”, which is around $512 and $533, and about the same as the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Samsung Galaxy Note 3, suggesting we are dealing with a high end device.
Such a handset will likely have a 1080P screen and Snapdragon 800 processor, and is presumably a variant of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5, which is expected to be released in Q1 or early Q2 2014.
Would a high end but pocketable ATIV give our readers a reason not to chose a Nokia handset? Let us know below.

Top 5 annoying things about your smart phone

Posted by Unknown 0 komentar

Let’s face it, smartphones aren’t perfect. We’ve had numerous editorials talking about it, and we don’t think twice about pointing these imperfections out in our reviews. Surely in life nothing is perfect, but there are surely those companies that try harder, and those that don’t. There are companies that’ll charge you the same amount of money for lesser quality products than others, and there are those that would rather lose a premium in oder to sell you what you paid for.
Now that said, smartphones aren’t new. We’ve used them for over a decade, and it’s interesting to note that there are certain things that were problems a decade ago, and that are still a problem today. Watch today’s Top 5 as we cover some of the things that we feel that OEMs should try harder to fix. We’ve seen a burst of bigger smartphones, more powerful processors and higher-resolution displays, and still, some of these enhancements are not as essential to us as certain basics that have not been solved yet.
Make sure you share your thoughts or annoyances in the comments down bellow

Samsung to release 4 new smartphones in 2014

Posted by Unknown Rabu, 04 Desember 2013 0 komentar
Samsung may dial up a virtual and literal handful of smartphones in early 2014.
(Credit: CBS Interactive)
The Samsung Galaxy S5 may be among five smartphones announced in the first quarter of 2014, reports ETNews (translate). While this is but one report, and from a not-always accurate source, the rumor dovetails with recent rumblings.
The last few few weeks have given way to plenty of leaks and whispers about the Galaxy S5. Details such as the design of the case and display technology have been in the mix for quite some time. But, with new information coming in almost daily, it feels as if the device is almost ready for takeoff.
A variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 might also be among one of the five rumored devices; a lower-cost version of the plus-sized smartphone could debut at Mobile World Congress in February.
This week saw new chatter suggesting a Galaxy Note 3 Lite will employ a step down in display and camera specifications.
One other device that may be on the near horizon is the Samsung Galaxy Grand Lite. This phone could allegedly be a cross between the Galaxy Grand and the Grand 2, and could occupy the middle ground in Samsung's lineup.
It's worth remembering that not every device announced by Samsung gets the global rollout treatment. Some smartphones, like those in the Galaxy Grand family, are often aimed for specific markets and carriers.

Samsung Galaxy S5 specs leaked!!

Posted by Unknown 0 komentar
The leaks and rumors have yet to reach that overdrive status, however it does appear as if we are seeing more and more mentions of the Samsung Galaxy S5. There has been talk of the handset having a metal frame, 16MP rear-facing camera and even a 4000 mAh battery. And as of today, a GFX Bench filing has been spotted for the SM-G900S, a device that is believed to be the Galaxy S5.
samsung-logo-2
The important part to remember here, the SM-G900S is believed to the the Galaxy S5. With that distinction made clear, it does appear the Galaxy S5 will bring a decent set of specs. The listing begins with mention of Android 4.4 Kit Kat, which given the timing, isn’t as much of a surprise, but more of something we would expect and/or hope to see.
Looking further and there was mention of Adreno 330 graphics and a display resolution of 2560 x 1440. Earlier leaks have suggested the Galaxy S5 display size would measure in at 5, or 5.2-inches. Or in other words, that means a potential PPI of well above 550. Also, while not mentioned in this filing, there has been talk of the Galaxy S5 arriving with 4GB of RAM.

Any.Do releases Cal app on the Play Store Download it now for free

There are a lot of calendar apps available for users in the Google Play Store. You probably have a favorite. I know I do. If you’re a fan of Any.DO and you use an Android device, we know you have been watching and waiting and hoping for the Cal app to make its way to Android. Today is your lucky day, because Any.DO has announced that Cal has landed in the Google Play Store.
Cal is one of the best calendar apps available on iOS, and now that it’s available for Android devices, it’s even better. The great part here is that the Android version of the app is actually better than the iOS version. The Android app offers the same integration with Google Maps and Uber that the iOS version has, but it has improved Any.DO task integration than the app on iOS. Android wins again.
cal any.do
Cal has a very modern interface and some pretty slick animations. The new Cal for Android app allows users to put their to-do lists and items into the correct dates on the calendar. It also has a nice home screen widget and supports landscape mode. It allows for instant syncing with Google Calendar, too, which means that it can replace your Google Calendar right away.
Cal has all of the same features of the iOS version, too. There are nine unique photo themes that you can choose from. The animations are nice, but they can be a bit heavy. Because the app syncs with your system calendars, it shows any your appointments that you want it to. Cal will integrate with your contacts as well, making it easy to add people to the events that you have stored in your calendar. The Google Maps and Uber integration make it very simple to jump in to those apps to begin navigating to an address or call a car to pick you up.
Cal is completely free, and you can check it out using the Play Store link below.  It may not be for everyone, but it’s one of the slickest calendar apps available for Android.
