Download Free MOTO-X Active Notification Apk

ActiveNotifications Brings Moto X Feature to All Android Devices

One of the custom features of the new Moto X (and the new Motorola DROIDs) is Active Notifications. This is a new kind of Android notification. When a message of some sort comes in, the phone wakes up the screen for a short time to display contextual information about the notification. The user can take action or dismiss without waking the phone up. An Android app called (predictably) ActiveNotifications aims to bring that same functionality to other devices.

When you install ActiveNotifications, the app will add itself to your list of notification handlers, or device administrators, depending on the version of Android. By default it shows every notification on your device, but you probably don't want that. The settings has a page where you can stipulate which apps ActiveNotification will wake up for.

So the phone is asleep, and a text message comes in. What happens? Your display comes on with a minimalist clock at the top and a white notification icon in the center. There is the touch interaction animation around the icon, letting you know it's seeking your attention.

When you press, ActiveNotifications displays a little more information next to the icon. For example, the first few lines of a text message or the subject line and sender of an email. The notification can be ignored, or opened right from that screen. You can also simply unlock the device without seeing that notification immediately.

This is a beta app, but the developer has been iterating quickly since its release. It will work on any Android device, but some might be better than others. There is the obvious possibility of battery drain. A device with an AMOLED screen only has to power the active pixels. but LCD devices have to turn on the entire backlight. For these phones and tablets, it's probably a good idea to keep the ActiveNotifications timeout set low.

The basic functionality is free, but for $0.99 you can get a few extras like customizable screen brightness, sleep hours, and a privacy mode that doesn't display message text on the notification screen. This is one of the best additions to Android's great notifications you'll find.

Popular iOS game Dues Ex:The Fall from Square Enix is now available on Android

Posted by Unknown 0 komentar

Having already been out on iOS for a short period, Square Enix will finally be bringing Deus Ex: The Fall to Android next month. According to a blog post over on the official Deus Ex website, the developers announce support for the iPad 2 before going over a bunch of details regarding that. After all the information there is a quick note at the bottom of the post announcing that the Android version is also on its way finally.

For those of you who have not been following the news regarding this game, Deus Ex: The Fall is a full addition to the franchise and is a full game, not just some companion application or mini-game. There are multiple ways to play the game with every action has a consequence and an almost open world style of gameplay where you can explore pretty much anywhere you want to.

When the iOS version arrived, Square Enix had made it so anyone running a jailbroken device couldn't fire any weapons in the game, essentially making the entire thing unplayable unless you don't mind wandering around aimlessly and dieing a whole lot. Eventually that got changed but it should be interesting to see if Square Enix does this for rooted Android phones. It's not like they haven't done similar things before but then turned around and changed it.

So when exactly well Android gamers finally be able to play Deus Ex: The Fall? Well there isn't an exact date announced just yet. Right now it is just a general September release window.

Download Link will be available soon.
