Asphalt 8 :Airborne to hit Android and iOS on August 22

Gameloft revealed Asphalt 8: Airborne, their latest racing game, way back at Google’s Nexus 7 and Android 4.3 event in San Francisco a couple weeks ago, but the game was supposed to be released on August 8th which didnt happen.Instead a fake Asphalt 8 hit the Play Store on that day.

Well, apparently Gameloft is now releasing it on August 22nd instead, and they’re giving away a pre-launch code to one lucky winner who’ll be able to check out the iOS or Android version before anyone else. All you have to do is subscribe to their YouTube channel and fill in the form on their website (linked below).

Asphalt 8 looks pretty sweet, promises 180 events, 47 licensed cars, and is optimized for OpenGL ES 3.0, which is the new 3D graphics standard built into Android 4.3. All that, coming this August 22nd y’all. More info over at Gameloft at the link below.
